Jacobs has secured a $450 million contract with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for clean-up and remediation of the Great Lakes, which is the largest group of fresh water lakes on Earth by total area, and is second largest by total volume, containing 21% of the world's fresh water sources.
Susannah Kerr, people and places solutions senior vice president and general manager for federal and environmental solutions at Jacobs, explains how this contract aligns with the company's mission and over all goals. Huck Raddemann, sediment remediation specialist at Jacobs, touches on the nitty gritty and technical details related to the remediation efforts at hand.
